Da Nang Plastic Joint Stock Company (DPC), formerly known as Da Nang Plastic Factory, was established in 1976. In 2000, it switched to operating under the equity model. The company operates in manufacturing and trading plastic processing products, mainly cement packaging, water pipes of all kinds for public, agricultural, fishery, construction and household products. The company's strategic product is plastic products, in which industrial plastics, specifically packaging plastics, account for a relatively high proportion (49%). The company's exploitation level is nearly 70% of its capacity, reaching an output of 4,000 – 4,500 tons of products/year, the Company's products account for 0.65% of the market share of plastic products in the country. The company's consumption market is concentrated at 40% in Da Nang, 45% in the Central and Central Highlands provinces, 15% in HO CHI MINH CITY. Large and stable customers such as: Da Nang Water Supply Company, Gia Lai Water Supply & Environment Center, Dai Luc Packaging Joint Stock Company, Nghi Son Cement Company, Chinfon Hai Phong, Hue Cement Luks Company, Da Nang Water Supply and Drainage Construction Company, UNICEF's rural clean water program. On May 28, 2024, the DPC officially traded on the UPCOM market.
